About Miles College

Miles College is a historically black college affiliated with the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. The school offers undergraduate degrees through six academic divisions: Business and Accounting, Communications, Education, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. Miles College also provides evening and weekend courses for non-traditional students. Due to the college's low student/faculty ratio, Miles College students often find it easy to build strong relationships with their professors.

Miles College is located in Fairfield, Alabama, a small suburb of Birmingham--Alabama's largest city. Birmingham's relatively low cost of living and excellent libraries and museums make the city an ideal place to attend college. Also, Birmingham hosts many fun yearly events, such as the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival and the Taste of 4th Avenue Jazz Festival.
