Missouri Black Colleges and Universities

With true ethnic, economic, and geographic diversity, Missouri is a cross-section of the United States. You can swim the beautiful Ozark lakes, visit St. Louis' Black World History Museum, take in the Kansas City Ballet, or stroll through one of Jefferson City's many art galleries. Whether your taste runs to nightlife and blues clubs or professional football, there's plenty to do in Missouri.

Missouri's two historically black colleges are both located in major cities. Lincoln University of Missouri is in Jefferson City, the state's capital, where throughout the year you'll find everything from jazz festivals to bike races. Harris-Stowe State University is in St. Louis--home to zoos and museums, the St. Louis Rams, and a number of wineries and breweries.
