Harris-Stowe State College is a historically black public college located in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. It was founded in 1857 as a teachers' college. St. Louis is the center of a large metropolitan area that provides students with cultural and entertainment options like the St. Louis Art Museum, the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, Cardinals baseball, and Rams football.Harris-Stowe State College offers bachelor's of science degree programs in the areas of business, education, and urban studies, which includes criminal justice.
