About TEXAS COLLEGE

A historically black college, Texas College was founded in 1894 by members of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. The college confers bachelor's degrees through its three divisions: Business and Social Sciences, Humanities and Education, and Natural and Computational Sciences. Besides bachelor's degrees, Texas College also offers associate's degrees in general studies and early childhood education. Texas College's on-campus facilities include a career services office, the Dominion Robert Glass Library, and residence halls.

Texas College's location in Tyler, Texas, gives students a bustling small-city environment. Every year, Tyler hosts the famous Texas Rose Festival, which draws tourists from around the world to celebrate Texas's rose-growing industry.
